Reddit service limitations you should know about

Updated September 9, 2022 in Reddit, Tips & Tricks

We at soar.sh always aim to deliver top-tier service to our clients.

Our team’s expertise and experience are always directed towards continuous improvements so we may accommodate the ever demanding needs for your campaign. However, there are certain limitations as to where our services can be applied.

In this article, we will talk about those limits and help you save time, mitigate questions and errors, so that you can focus more on your campaign’s success.

Below are the situations and places where our powers simply cannot reach.

reddit service

Reddit service limitations

1. Archived posts

Casting votes on archived posts is no longer possible. We can still write comments somehow, but that’s about it. The number of votes the post currently has is fixed and can no longer be changed.

Prior to making an order with us, make sure that the post doesn’t have the “archived” notice as shown on the image below.

In case you have already placed an order by mistake, please contact us as soon as possible so we can provide you with a new set of Reddit upvotes for a different post.

2. Promoted posts

We are still currently investigating as to why it happens, but promoted posts somehow won’t or can’t accept upvotes from us. In the meantime, it’s best to avoid buying votes for posts that have the “PROMOTED” label as shown in the image below.

Instead, what you can do is order upvotes “before” hitting promote. Not only will it ensure that our votes will register, but also show a rather convincing post which is likely to attract more traffic.

Promoted posts are usually ignored by Redditors unless it’s shown as a hot or trending topic.

3. Deleted users

This means that the user was either banned from the subreddit where the post was submitted or was totally banned from reddit.com.

In the sample image below, the u/[deleted] should have been a u/name.

If you have already ordered from us and upvotes were not delivered because of this, please let us know and we will provide you with a new round of upvotes for a different post.

4. Deleted posts

This usually happens when a post looks suspicious to moderators and is removed as a result.

Another reason is that certain rules of the subreddit may not have been followed.(e.g. age and karma requirements to submit a post, duplicate posts, or posts violating content policy) When this happens, a comment explaining why the post was removed is usually posted.

Notify us immediately if this happens to you so we can give you another round of upvotes to a new URL.

5. Locked thread

Same with “deleted posts” these can no longer be upvoted. It’s either locked by moderators of the subreddit or by the original thread poster.

Make sure to check for the “locked” notification before placing an upvotes order and as always, contact us if the order was submitted by mistake.

6. Self posts or posts to your own profile

Self posts are made outside or without the need for subreddits. This simply means that you submitted a post on your own profile, much like posting on your Facebook wall. We are unable to cast votes on these posts.
